FrogWatch Virtual Training

This event is no longer on sale.

Wednesday February 24

7:00 PM  –  8:30 PM

Recommended for Ages 12 & Above | One registration per family | Please provide the supervising adult’s information for registration.

During this entirely virtual training, participants will learn about citizen science, the important role amphibians play in the ecosystem, and how to identify ten species of frogs heard in Connecticut. After the training, participants will be sent a virtual assessment they need to complete in order to become a certified FrogWatch Volunteer.*

Please consider making a voluntary, tax-deductible donation. Your gift will be put to immediate use, helping us continue to provide programs like these, ensure the highest quality care for our animals, and so much more!  As part of this initiative, your contribution will be shared with our partners at The Beardsley Zoo and Yale's Peabody Museum.

We look forward to virtually learning with you!

*We will be training on frogs local to Connecticut. While anyone is welcome to join, it is strongly encouraged for interested participants to attend a training local to them. To find a training near you, visit
